Spencer Fane was pleased to be a Silver Sponsor for the 2023 Commercial Receivers Association (CRA)’s Annual Conference on August 21-23 in St. Louis. Attorneys Eric Peterson, Jim Lodoen, and Eric Johnson represented the firm at the event and also served as program speakers.
Held at the historic St. Louis Union Station, the inaugural conference brought together attorneys, bankers, accountants, and turnaround professionals to discuss cutting-edge legal developments and strategies in the receivership field. Eric Peterson – CRA Board President – helped kick off the conference and served as a panelist for the session Securing Out of State Property. Jim participated on the panel Finance, Accounting, and Fraud Detection for Receiverships. Eric Johnson participated in the program The Overlap Between Receiverships and ABC’s.
The CRA aims to empower the education and standardization of commercial receivership administration while providing education, networking, and practical resources for members. Eric helped establish the organization earlier this year and continues to be instrumental in its rapid growth.
