Spencer Fane is pleased to announce that two attorneys, Patrick Dunn (Austin) and Matthew Wine (Overland Park), have been promoted to Of Counsel.
Pat is an experienced patent litigator and trial lawyer who litigates high-value patent cases on both the plaintiff and defendant sides, primarily in federal district courts. Pat has a deep yet broad technical and legal background in computer science, electronics, and telecommunications. He also has broad experience in patent monetization and licensing as well as managing inter partes reviews before the Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB), and experience with litigation finance.
Matthew Wine is a skilled real estate lawyer who focuses his practice on commercial and residential real estate development, affordable housing development, tax credit financing, real property tax abatement and other related incentives, state and federal regulatory counseling, financial services, business transactions, commercial leasing, and other general real estate matters. He is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame Law School with extensive prior experience in the financial services and affordable housing industries.
