Spencer Fane was pleased to welcome special guest Paul Henderson, San Francisco’s Director of the Department of Police Accountability, to speak at the firm’s inaugural celebration of Juneteenth.
His remarks focused on the important history of Juneteenth, as well as his experience as an advocate and public servant who leads a team tasked with investigating police use of force and misconduct in San Francisco.
Henderson is a nationally recognized speaker, veteran prosecutor and champion for social justice who appears regularly on MSNBC, CNN and PBS, and is a contributing writer to Politico.com. Henderson’s experience includes introducing numerous cutting-edge programs of national consequence including a modified approach to three strikes along with the development of trainings for legal professionals, public agencies and elected officials across the country.
