Spencer Fane LLP is pleased to announce Ebony L. Randolph joined the firm’s Santa Monica, California, office as an associate in the Litigation and Dispute Resolution practice group.
Ebony represents clients across a broad range of complex civil litigation matters in both state and federal courts, working diligently to secure favorable outcomes from case inception through resolution. She has specific experience defending clients in insurance coverage disputes, personal injury, premises liability, and general liability, minimizing financial exposure and reputational damage through comprehensive and consistent advocacy.
Before entering private practice, Ebony served as a law clerk for the County of Los Angeles Inglewood Public Defender’s Office, developing the fierce resolve now present in her work both in and out of the courtroom. Following, she represented clients as a private criminal defense attorney.
“Ebony’s multifaceted background navigating civil and criminal casework and experience practicing across several California legal venues will be a distinctive asset to our large and diverse litigation practice,” said Karen McCay, Office Managing Partner for Spencer Fane in Santa Monica and San Jose, California. “We look forward to welcoming her and introducing her to our national bank of resources across 29 offices.”
Ebony completed her bachelor’s degree at California State University, Los Angeles, then earned her master’s in social work from the University of Southern California. She earned her Juris Doctor from Southwestern Law School, where she was awarded the Public Interest Distinction of Honor for completing more than 400 hours of pro bono work. Since then, she has devoted significant time to providing pro bono legal services for victims of domestic violence.
