Spencer Fane LLP is pleased to announce Janet G. Betts joined the firm’s Phoenix office as an of counsel attorney in the Corporate and Business Transactions and Real Estate practice groups.
Janet guides clients through a wide variety of transactions within her expansive, multidisciplinary practice, diligently analyzing complex subject matter to form comprehensive legal strategies that adhere to time constraints, comply with state and federal regulations, and meet specific financial and operational objectives.
In her business practice, she advises companies, trusts, family-owned businesses, and tax-exempt organizations on the formation and operation of partnerships, corporations, and limited liability companies, specifically focusing on tax and securities issues.
Janet also works extensively in the real estate sector, representing landlords, tenants, real estate developers, investors, property owners, and family-owned real estate companies in the acquisition, financing, development, leasing, management, and sale and purchase of real properties. Additionally, she counsels and represents hotels and hospitality entities in matters including service contracts, leases, and entitlements.
