Spencer Fane attorney Kersten Holzhueter recently wrote an article for Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Foundation’s KC Counselor magazine, providing a recap of Lawyers Encouraging Academic Performance (LEAP)’s virtual charitable event.
Kersten explained that the event was a celebration of Operation Breakthrough (OB)’s efforts and the generosity of the Kansas City legal community, including a sizeable donation from LEAP.
“To thank LEAP and kick off the celebration, attendees had the pleasure of watching a video of Operation Breakthrough preschool choir,” Kersten noted. “The work of OB has always deserved high praise and it is truly remarkable that OB adapted to meet these new demands at such a challenging time.”
