Spencer Fane attorneys Carly Duvall and Patrick McAndrews were featured in Startup Missouri’s Business Spotlight for their involvement as co-chairs of the Startup Lab.
Titled “Kansas City law firm’s Startup Lab offers a boost for new companies,” the article discusses the value that the Spencer Fane Startup Lab brings; outlining the work Carly and Pat have done with local companies.
“[Startup companies are] not scared of lawyers, but they’re apprehensive to get lawyers at the beginning stages of their companies because there’s a mystery [around fees and costs],” Pat explained in the article. “ . . . We kind of take the mystery out of legal services.”
