Spencer Fane attorney Ayesha Mehdi returned to the University of Nevada, Reno on October 18 to present a seminar to the school’s nurse practitioner students after leading the same session last year.
During the seminar, Let’s Practice! A Brief Overview of Practice Options for APRNs, Ayesha guided attendees through the legal considerations of owning a practice as an advanced practice registered nurse (APRN). Topics included employment and professional service agreements, applicable laws, important contract clauses, and a checklist for opening shop.
