Overview
Serving clients across a broad spectrum of industries, Ariel Lierz focuses her national practice on high-stakes business and employment-related litigation. She has extensive experience in complex multiparty, multi-claim disputes in the areas of antifraud, antitrust, breach of contract, indemnification, insurance coverage, insurance defense, and commercial disputes. Ariel also has a background in Federal Indian Law as a certified student attorney in Menominee Tribal Court.
She has appeared before state and federal district courts, the American Arbitration Association, and various tribal courts.

- Handled a breach of contract action on behalf of a client. Obtained default judgment in favor of client on motion to compel, and was able to pierce corporate veil of defendant.
- Defended employer in a suit brought by competitor alleging breach of contract related to restrictive covenants. Obtained decision from the court denying plaintiff’s motion for a temporary injunction, with the court concluding that plaintiff’s restrictive covenants were overbroad, ambiguous, and unsupported by a legitimate business interest.
- Successfully resolved unpaid commission claims on behalf of a client in Minnesota state court.
