Alec Martinez
Overview
Alec is a member of the firm’s Litigation and Dispute Resolution Group. His practice consists primarily of commercial litigation for a wide variety of clients, which range from individuals to large corporations. Alec uses his litigation background to diligently pursue favorable outcomes for his clients at all stages of litigation and, when possible, to resolve disputes before any case is filed.
Prior to joining Spencer Fane, Alec clerked for the Honorable Christopher C. Zenisek in Colorado District Court, where he gained valuable courtroom experience. During his clerkship, he was involved in hundreds of civil and criminal court proceedings, including dozens of jury trials.
Alec graduated from Denver University Sturm College of Law in 2018, where he served as Associate Editor for Denver Law Review. During law school, Alec served as a judicial extern for the Honorable Kristen L. Mix in U.S. District Court for the District of Colorado.
