Spencer Fane is pleased to announce attorney Megan Early-Soppa’s inclusion on ALM’s list of 2025 Southeastern Legal Awards honorees. She is one of only two attorneys in her state to receive this year’s On the Rise in South Carolina recognition.
Previously known as the Georgia Legal Awards, this program has expanded to celebrate legal excellence in Alabama, Georgia, Mississippi, North and South Carolina, and Tennessee. As an On the Rise honoree, Megan is recognized for her profound commitment to improving outcomes for her firm, legal, and business communities.
She and her fellow honorees and finalists will be formally celebrated at the May 1 Southeastern Legal Awards gala in Atlanta. In addition, ALM will publish a special section in June, further highlighting these skilled attorneys and their important accomplishments.
At Spencer Fane, Megan employs a combination of power, intuition, and effectiveness to represent clients within a diverse practice encompassing tort and commercial litigation. Her experience on both sides of litigation across various legal venues has equipped her with valuable insights and the ability to craft adaptable, quick-witted solutions. In addition to her work at the firm, she maintains visibility in multiple legal spheres and serves as a prominent community advocate. She is an active member of the Greenville Bar Association; serves on the Diversity Committee and Wellness Committee within the South Carolina Bar Association; co-chairs the American Heart Association’s 2025 Go Red for Women Luncheon; and has held a variety of leadership roles for the Hispanic Alliance of South Carolina. Outside of her busy practice, Megan is also an OCB Figure Professional Bodybuilder.
