Spencer Fane was pleased to be a Fund-a-Need Match donor for the 2024 Housing Industry Foundation (HIF) Summit on September 5 in San Jose, California. The firm donated $10,000 to this year’s campaign.
The Summit, which celebrated its 35th anniversary this year, is HIF’s largest fundraiser. Through a fantastic program featuring presentations, awards, an auction, and networking for over 700 attendees, HIF raised over $750,000. Over $215,000 of this amount came from the Fund-a-Need campaign alone.
The event’s proceeds will support HIF’s mission to provide stable housing for the community through homeless prevention programs including emergency assistance grants, affordable housing initiatives, and renovation projects. Last April, Spencer Fane attorney and HIF board member Servando Sandoval participated in one such project by volunteering for a Day-of-Service that finalized renovations for housing units.
