Spencer Fane was proud to sponsor the Blue Valley Educational Foundation’s 34th Annual Community Breakfast on August 29 in Overland Park, Kansas. Attorneys Joe Hatley (who helped organize the sponsorship), Stephanie Lovett-Bowman, Melissa Sherman, and David Waters represented the firm at the event.
Breakfast attendees enjoyed student entertainment, an address from the superintendent, and a BVEF Hall of Fame induction ceremony. This year’s theme, “The Power of One,” highlighted the impact one student, teacher, school, district and community can make on a lifetime. Funds from the event will support the Blue Valley School District’s Excellence in Education classroom and other grants, which empower teachers to go beyond traditional classroom limits and enable successful futures for students.
Spencer Fane is proud to support institutions such as the Blue Valley School District as part of an ongoing commitment to connect with and improve the communities in which the firm is immersed. Many Spencer Fane professionals serve in community leadership roles and actively participate in organizational boards, volunteer programs, and philanthropic opportunities.
