Spencer Fane attorney and Vice President of the South Asian Bar Association of Las Vegas (SABA-LV) Ayesha Mehdi recently helped organize a happy hour event aimed at introducing scholarships to South Asian and other minority college and law students. As Vice President of SABA-LV, Ayesha’s commitment to community engagement centers on nurturing connections among South Asian legal professionals and the broader legal community.
The event extended invitations to students from the William S. Boyd School of Law as well as local attorneys and judges, providing an opportunity for networking over drinks and hors d’oeuvres at Tacos & Beer restaurant in Las Vegas.
SABA-LV is a branch of SABA North America, a nonprofit organization dedicated to strengthening the South Asian legal community and providing a trusted forum and other initiatives for professional growth and development. Many Spencer Fane attorneys actively participate in SABA events across national branches, including attorney Daniel Chung’s recent attendance of the SABA-Northern California Gala.
At the firm, Ayesha works closely with physicians and other health care professionals as well as various health care and closely held businesses in a wide range of corporate, transactional, regulatory, and licensure matters. She serves as outside counsel for her clients to help them reach their goals and provides solutions when dealing with professional board complaints, reimbursement issues, and corporate compliance.
