Spencer Fane is pleased to announce attorneys DeAndrea Washington, Mavish Bana, and Toni Ojoyeyi have been selected as 2024 participants for two of the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity’s (LCLD) prestigious programs. DeAndrea joins the Fellows Program while Mavish and Toni join the Pathfinder Program.
“Notwithstanding the substantial challenges to DE&I, our dedication to improving and expanding our programs for talented attorneys has only grown stronger,” LCLD President Robert J. Grey Jr. said.
The LCLD Fellows program offers high-potential, midcareer attorneys from diverse backgrounds professional and personal development opportunities as well as leadership training and relationship-building resources. DeAndrea will participate in learning sessions and have access to other LCLD members and prominent business leaders, including managing partners and general counsel, for mentoring and guidance.
As Pathfinders, Mavish, and Toni will participate in a seven-month curriculum that offers practical tools for developing and leveraging internal professional networks, leadership skills, and an understanding of career development strategies. In addition to full-class programming, participants are placed in small groups led by a Program Facilitator who serves as a mentor to help each Pathfinder connect what they learn to the organization at which they work.
At the end of their respective programs, DeAndrea, Mavish, and Toni will join attorneys Brittainy Joyner, Sonja McGill, Kristen Walker, Linda Knight, Brian Peterson, Valentine Uduebor, and Natalie Washington in LCLD Alumni Program membership. as part of the LCLD Alumni Program.
The LCLD is an organization of more than 400 corporate chief legal officers and law firm managing partners who have pledged themselves, through the Leaders at the Front initiative and other means, to creating a truly diverse U.S. legal profession.
