Spencer Fane attorney Megan Clontz has been named to the 2024 Board of Directors for the International Women’s Insolvency & Restructuring Confederation (IWIRC). She will serve as Co-Director of New Networks and Regional Development.
Since its founding in 1993, IWIRC has empowered and encouraged women in the restructuring and insolvency professions. This international organization offers its members the opportunity for leadership at the global, regional, and local levels through powerful networks that organize professional, educational, and social activities. Megan currently Chairs the IWIRC – Central Texas Network.
At Spencer Fane, Megan focuses her practice on representing clients in small business reorganizations, restructurings, and debtor and creditor rights litigation in both state and federal courts. She works to protect her clients’ assets in all aspects of bankruptcy and related litigation, including preferences, fraudulent transfers, dischargeability, and state law-based actions.
