Spencer Fane was proud to attend and serve as a Gold Sponsor for South Asian Bar Association Dallas’ (SABA Dallas) 7th Annual Gala on September 9 at the Perot Museum of Natural Science. Attorneys Mavish Bana and Kunal Shah represented the firm at the event and are on the Executive Board of Directors for SABA Dallas; and Mavish was the Gala Chair responsible for organizing the hugely successful event.
This year’s gala, themed Starry Night at the Museum, benefitted Girls Who Code, and international nonprofit that that aims to close the gender gap in new technology jobs by 2030 by empowering girls to code characters that better reflect them and the diversity of their communities. The Keynote Address, delivered by Punam Kaji, Senior Counsel of Fidelity Investments, provided a riveting message on imposter syndrome.
SABA Dallas seeks to build connectivity among South Asian lawyers in DFW and promote civil rights, access to justice, and diversity and inclusion for the South Asian community.
