Spencer Fane attorney Sam Jackson was a featured speaker at the Tennessee School Boards Association (TSBA) Summer Law Institute on July 22 in Gatlinburg.
The three-day event reviewed new and relevant education laws in Tennessee as well as state and federal school-related court decisions. Sam presented the session Teacher Discipline: How Does It Work and What Do Board Members Need to Know?
The TSBA is a nonprofit organization that aims to assist school board professionals in effective governance. Since 1953, it has been recognized by the Tennessee legislature as “the organization and representative agency” of Tennessee school board members.
