The Ethical Campaign: Common Ethical Problems from the Registry

Spencer Fane Bone McAllester attorney William (Paz) Haynes will present at an upcoming Tennessee Bar Association CLE event, covering law and ethics related to office elections.

Titled “Common Ethical Problems from the Registry,” Paz and the panel of speakers will discuss issues associated with the voter registration process, including ethical and compliance matters. The program will detail compliance with election law provisions and campaign finance practices, conformity with the “Comprehensive Governmental Ethics Reform Act,” and the provisions of the Code of Judicial Conduct and Rules of Professional Conduct provisions concerning elections.

At Spencer Fane, Paz represents physicians and other health care providers in negotiating a variety of contracts and business arrangements, providing responsive day-to-day legal advice on all aspects of operation critical to success. He is a leader in the community and currently serves on the board of the Tennessee Registry of Election Finance and the board of directors of Tennessee Justice for Our Neighbors.
