Spencer Fane attorney Mike Patterson recently presented at the Global Chamber’s “Globinar,” covering latest changes in employment law in Mexico.
Mike led a panel discussion with Eduardo Gonzalez of 258 Consulting, Raymundo Rodriguez of Kastell Consulting, and Adalberto Elias of United States/Mexico Tetakawi. They discussed the changes that were made to Mexican Federal laws and the impact on international companies.
The panel addressed the updates made to the Federal Labor Law, Social Security Law, Law of the Institute of the National Housing Fund for Workers, Federal Tax Code, Income Tax Law, and Value Added Tax Law, explaining the direct impact on business transactions involving Mexico.
