Spencer Fane attorney Shawn Tuma led both a training course and presentation at SecureWorld Charlotte March 1-2 at the Charlotte Convention Center in North Carolina.
During his in-depth training, Real-World Cyber Risk Management and Resilience Planning, Shawn provided insights on topics such as the cyberattack investigation lifecycle, legal and regulatory requirements, risk prioritization, and cyber insurance. He also led a presentation, Cybersecurity Really is a Team Sport, which discussed how strategic leadership and understanding of roles, personality, and psychology is important for building and managing effective cybersecurity teams.
The Charlotte event was one of the 17 regional conferences produced annually by SecureWorld that focus on connecting, informing, and developing leaders in the cybersecurity industry. With both in-person and virtual opportunities, SecureWorld provides featured keynotes, panel discussions, breakout sessions, and networking opportunities. Shawn is a frequent SecureWorld collaborator.
