Spencer Fane attorneys Jessica Merrigan and Jim Price were recently named to the Missouri Lawyers Weekly’s 2022 POWER list for Environmental and Energy Law. According to the publication, the POWER list comprises “the state’s most powerful attorneys in environmental and energy law.” Jessica and Jim currently serve as co-chairs of the firm’s Environment and Energy Practice Group.
At Spencer Fane, Jessica counsels clients on environmental regulatory requirements, state and federal permits, and emerging contaminants. She also represents clients in litigating environmental claims, including contribution claims under the federal Superfund law.
Jim concentrates on environmental regulation and compliance, environmental litigation, toxic torts, and business transactions involving environmental issues. He has served as lead counsel for many environmental matters, including Superfund proceedings, RCRA corrective action, environmental transactions, and environmental permitting and compliance for solid waste, hazardous waste, water, air, and other matters.
