Bill Hopkins Discusses Physician Investments at Harris County Medical Society North Branch Meeting

November 30, 2022

Spencer Fane attorney Bill Hopkins recently identified considerations for healthcare investment opportunities at the Harris County Medical Society (HCMS) North Branch Meeting on October 13 in Kingwood, Texas.

During his presentation, Physician Investment and Engagement in Healthcare Business Ventures, Bill discussed different transaction structures; risk, benefit, and issue evaluation; and best practices related to physician investment. The event offered CME credit to attendees and opened with a networking hour. Bill also presented at the meetings for the HCMS Central and Western branches earlier this year.

Established in 1903, HCMS is the professional organization for physicians in Harris County and the largest county medical society in the nation, representing more than 12,500 physicians and medical students.

At Spencer Fane, Bill helps protect healthcare providers and companies against the many potential pitfalls in the industry, serving as both an advocate and educator for his clients in administrative law, regulatory defense, compliance, and litigation. He ensures that the legal aspects of healthcare are covered, so his clients can maintain their focus where it matters most – providing healthcare.
