Spencer Fane attorney Jeremy Rucker achieved the designation of Privacy Law Specialist (PLS), an elite classification bestowed by the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP) on October 25. He is the first attorney at the firm to earn this prestigious designation.
This designation affirms that Jeremy has met rigorous experience and knowledge requirements, which include achieving and maintaining the CIPP/US certification, as well as either the CIPM or the CIPT certification. As part of the exclusive group of attorneys to earn the PLS credential, Jeremy continues to exemplify leadership and success in the Privacy Law space.
The IAPP is the largest and most comprehensive global information privacy community and resource. Founded in 2000, this not-for-profit organization helps define, support, and improve the privacy profession globally. The IAPP is the only organization accredited by the American Bar Association (ABA) to certify lawyers in the specialty area of Privacy Law.
