Spencer Fane attorney Mike Patterson joined a panel to discuss international asset sales as part of the American Bankruptcy Institute’s (ABI) 2022 Midwestern Bankruptcy Institute on October 7 at the University of Missouri-Kansas City.
Attorneys Andrea Chase and Elizabeth Lally also represented the firm at the event, serving as chair of the event committee and session speaker, respectively. The firm also sponsored the annual ABI conference.
During the presentation, Commercial: Issues with International Asset Sales, Mike explored topics such as cross-border sales and reverse vesting transactions. The panel was part of the hybrid conference’s CLE/CPE programming for bankruptcy industry professionals. Robert J. Keach of Bernstein Shur and Brendan O’Neill of Goodmans LLP led the discussion.
