Spencer Fane attorney Jamie Cotter joined a panel to discuss the use of expert testimony for eminent domain-related property appraisal at the CLE International Colorado Eminent Domain Conference on October 6 in downtown Denver.
The presentation, Cost to Cure and Other Expert Testimony: Supporting the Appraiser’s Opinion, outlined considerations for eminent domain cases that involve expert witness testimony. Jamie explored topics such as property restoration costs and damages combined with special benefits alongside David Clayton, Clayton and Company; and Dr. Lance VanDemark, Vertex Engineering. The panel offered both appraiser and engineer perspectives and was part of the 25th annual conference’s condemnation law-centered programming.
