Eric Peterson Speaks at Commercial Receivers Association Inaugural Conference

Spencer Fane attorney Eric Peterson presented on ever-changing state commercial receivership laws at the Commercial Receivers Association (CRA) inaugural conference on August 16. Eric is the current CRA President and serves on the CRA Board of Directors.

During his presentation, How State Laws For Receiverships Have Changed For the Better, Eric and his fellow panelists outlined how states are updating their commercial receivership laws and how they are getting restructured and passed. The panel also discussed how these laws are being utilized for the greater good of receivership practice.

Eric was joined on the panel by James Baillie, Fredrikson & Byron; Thomas Hemmendinger, BRCSM; and John Cruciani, Husch Blackwell.

As a board member, Eric also joined his fellow members to open the virtual conference, laying out the evolution of the CRA, the establishment and growth of the organization, and the future path it will take moving into the years to come.
