Spencer Fane is pleased to announce attorney Amy Mistler has been named to the St. Louis Business Journal (SLBJ) 2022 class of Most Influential Business Women. The Most Influential Business Women Awards program, established in 1999, annually recognizes the accomplishments of the region’s female business leaders who have made an impact in the industries in which they work and also in the community.
Amy was honored at an August 4 award ceremony and featured in a SLBJ special issue. In her feature, Amy shared the best advice she’s received from a mentor.
She said, “One recurring piece of advice I give young professionals is: in times of uncertainty and challenge, stay optimistic and take the long view. When we are buried in day-to-day challenges of work and/or family, it is easy to forget that your current circumstances will change, and often do so a lot sooner than you anticipate.”
With the help of past winners, the SLBJ reviewed nearly 150 nominations and selected the 2022 class of Most Influential Business Women. The award recognizes remarkable women who excel in careers in the business arena. This year’s 25 accomplished business leaders represent a variety of industries across the region, and are recognized for having made an impact at area nonprofit organizations and in their own communities.
At Spencer Fane, Amy is a commercial real estate attorney representing developers, investors, lenders, and borrowers in all types of real estate transactions, including the acquisition, development, sale, exchange, financing, and leasing of office, retail, multifamily, and industrial properties. She regularly counsels clients on issues related to zoning, finance, land development, appurtenant rights, and the subdivision of property.
