Spencer Fane attorney Shawn Tuma recently joined a panel presentation at the Veracross annual EdTech Conference for Independent Schools on June 24.
During the presentation, What Your School Needs to Know and Do After a Cyber Attack, Shawn shared an outline on how to respond to a cyber incident from minute one through more than four years after the breach. The audience learned how to create and manage a basic, actionable Incident Response Plan.
Shawn was joined on the panel by Eric Lankford, Director of the K12 Security Information Exchange; Mike Saylor, CEO of Blackswan Cybersecurity; and Jeff Shaffer, Vice President of Engagement Management at Stroz Friedberg.
