With continued strategic growth into new markets and expanding to meet the growing needs of clients, Spencer Fane continues to move up the Law360 400, the online publication’s annual list of the largest law firms ranked by their total number of U.S. attorneys. The firm ranked No. 123 this year, moving up 27 spots from No. 150 in 2021.
The rankings are based on total headcount on December 31, 2021.
Spencer Fane continues to utilize a long-standing strategy to drive growth of the firm, continually aligning resources with the evolving needs of our client base. This has created a sizable but controlled footprint without offices on either coast while aligning with the needs of clients in the markets where they do business.
This year’s move up the Law360 400 list coincides with the October 2021 combination of Spencer Fane and Bone McAllester Norton to create multiple offices in the Nashville metro area. However, the firm also continues to sit well below the industry average in attrition rate, a credit to the firm’s established and unique culture resonating with both current attorneys and the lateral market.
