Spencer Fane attorney Robyn Nordin Stowell will be a featured speaker at a PKF O’Connor Davies’s Private Club Symposium on June 29, addressing key issues faced by today’s private club industry.
During the presentation, Robyn and her fellow panelists will discuss a range of topics including tax laws specific to private clubs, legal considerations essential to Board decision-making, and cybersecurity threats and protection.
The panel will also outline the industry’s hottest topics, such as the advantages of maintaining 501(c)(7) tax-exempt status; how to protect against major cybersecurity threats; and overall legal best practices. Robyn will be joined on the panel by Thomas J. DeMayo, PKF O’Connor Davies; Mitchell L. Stump, CPA, The Club Tax Book; and Jim Boyle, Club Benchmarking.
Robyn is a frequent speaker in the private club industry, including addressing club legal issues for Club Management Association of America and National Club Association. She is a regular columnist for BoardRoom Magazine and is often quoted in other industry publications.
