Spencer Fane Adds Experienced Health Care Attorney in St. Louis

Spencer Fane LLP is pleased to announce Elizabeth “Beth” Siemer has joined the Health Care Practice Group as an of counsel attorney in the firm’s St. Louis office.

Siemer brings a unique combination of in-house and private practice experience, giving her depth of expertise combined with a practical understanding her clients’ legal needs and risk profiles. Most recently, she served as senior managing counsel for an integrated health services company, where she led a legal team supporting contracting and regulatory analysis for a variety of business arrangements in mail-order and specialty pharmacy, pharmaceutical distribution, supply chain management, 340B administration, pharmacy benefit management, and insurance-integrated health care products. In this role, she gained valuable experience in preparing and analyzing complex agreements with pharmacies, distributors, pharmaceutical manufacturers, payers, 340B clients, hospital systems, physicians, group purchasing organizations, pharmacy and medical benefit managers, entrepreneurial health care start-ups, and more.

Siemer also has significant experience in health care fraud and abuse laws and privacy laws, with a focus on helping health care organizations navigate complex state and federal laws and other requirements that govern transactions, compliance, and reimbursement.

Siemer completed her undergraduate studies at Truman State University and earned her Juris Doctor from the Washington University School of Law in St. Louis.
