Katherine Davis Authors Article on Updated CDC Guidance in the Workplace

March 2, 2021

Spencer Fane attorney Katherine Davis recently wrote an article in BenefitsPRO covering the updated COVID-19 workplace guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). This update focuses on mask-wearing for in-person employees and quarantine requirements for employees who have received the COVID-19 vaccine.

Titled “Taking a shot at avoiding quarantine (and COVID-19): A layered approach,” the article discusses that under the new guidance, fully vaccinated individuals who are exposed to COVID-19 will no longer be required to quarantine if certain criteria are met.

“Guidance on COVID-19 transmission, vaccination and recommendations for the workplace is changing quickly,” Katherine explained in the article. “Employers should stay up to date on current guidance from the CDC and local entities that govern COVID-19 protocols.”
