Spencer Fane attorney Adam LaBoda was recently featured in a Kansas City Business Journal cover story, discussing banking during COVID-19.
Titled, “Post-Pandemic ‘Normal’ Will Bring Lots of Gray for KC Banks,” the article highlighted the role banks have played throughout the pandemic in “helping local businesses survive by offering to defer loan payments when shelter-in-place and social distancing orders caused businesses to shut down or operate at severely reduced capacity.”Adam shared that banks will evaluate a business’ health prior to the pandemic, as well as those who may be in a healthier position through the downturn, in determining how to maneuver this uniquely challenging time.
“There will need to be different levels of analysis that go into evaluating a customer and looking at what the long-term picture looks like,” Adam told the Business Journal.
